Bryn Euryn Local Nature Reserve

A circular walk to Bryn Euryn where you’ll climb through woodland.  At the top of Bryn Euryn there are spectacular views.  It also has great historical interest with Llys Euryn a house dating from the 15th century and a hilltop fort from the 16th century.

From the car park take the track heading west.  You’ll soon see where the ruins of the old mansion.

There are markets to guide you to the summit and woodland trails.  Keep walking up the mountain until you reach the top.  You’ll pass through a gate, then the two trails split.  Take the one for the summit and follow it uphill.  There are plenty of benches to rest on your journey.  Once at the top you will see the lookout used in WW2 and breathtaking views.
