I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here is coming to North Wales
Just a few miles away sits Gwrych Castle which is the new home for I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
Due to the coranvirus pandemic ITV bosses decided not to use the Australian jungle this year. The camp will instead be inside a 200 year old Gwrych Castle which is located in Abergele, North Wales.
The 19th century country house was built between 1810 and 1825 by Lloyd Hesketh Bamford Hesketh. It played an important role in World War 2 as the government used it to house 200 Jews.
Over the years it has gone into disrepair but has tried to be restored by the Gwrych Castle Trust. The ruins are said to be haunted by the ghost of the previous owner the Countess of Dundonald.
Producers have indicated that some of the challenges will include a spooky Spectre theme.
We can’t wait!
